Parenting education program that works with parenting and pregnant youth to help them succeed.

Education for teen parents can include classes, workshops or alternative learning settings.

Additional Information

The Becoming Program provides young women resources and information on how to stay healthy throughout a pregnancy and prepare for parenting or adoption.

This program provides:

  • Nurse visits at home or school to check on mom and baby's health
  • Building skills to increase confidence in parenting abilities
  • Case management and finding resources
  • Early screening for depression and other mental health issues
  • Increased bonding between you and your baby
  • Gifts for you and your baby
