Emergency Shelter

Provides a temporary place to stay for people that do not have housing


Offers temporary shelter for those who are homeless or need a place to stay. Space may be available on-site, or may be provided at other nearby locations.

Additional Information

Short-term assistance for people who are homeless:

  • Can help with deposit, first-month's rent or utility assistance to get housing

  • Emergency motel voucher - 1 night only

  • Follow up helps to get connected to other resources

  • Dream Catcher Homes provides supportive housing for people who are leaving long-term homelessness. Services to find and keep housing include:

    • Case management
    • In-home services
    • Transportation help
    • Funding help for related household needs

Emergency Service Program for an individual or family who is homeless

Dream Catcher Homes for an individual or family who is long-term homeless:

  • Person or family (including youth) who have been living on the streets or in a shelter for 1 year or more, or
  • Person or family (including youth) who has been living on the streets or in a shelter at least 4 times in the past 3 years
