Legal help for low-income individuals
Description
Legal aid program that offers legal counseling and/or representation for low-income individuals, typically in the areas of disability law, elder law and family law
Free or low cost legal services help people who are unable to afford a lawyer get access to the court system.

Provides legal clinics in the following non-criminal areas:
- Divorce
- Family Law cases
- Tax consultation
- Housing, employment, bankruptcy
- Controversy cases with the Internal Revenue Service (IRS)
- Insurance
- 3rd party custody cases
- Immigration - James H. Binger Center for New Americans
- Legal services for noncitizens, including representation and education about legal rights
Representation is provided by law students under the supervision of a licensed attorney.
Some cases may be referred to other non-profit partners.
