Domestic Violence Support Services
Support program focusing on domestic abuse of individuals by their spouses or partners
Description
This program provides support to people in abusive situations and works to reduce relationship abuse, intimate partner violence and family violence.
Programs may include crisis intervention and domestic violence education and prevention.
Additional Information
Provides advocacy and support services to female victims of domestic violence and their children Services and programs include:
- Acute Intervention - Crisis help, information, legal advocacy in the criminal and civil legal systems, safety planning, short and long term transitional services.
- Services for children and teens
- Family transitional services
- Latino Immigrant and refugee family violence program
- Older battered women's program
- Southeast Asian services
- Muslim battered women's outreach program
- Transitional services including ongoing safety planning, obtaining orders of protection, medical care, shelter, transportation, housing, basic needs, employment, financial aid
- Weekly support groups
