Educates and informs Somali families of children with Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD) in Minnesota.
Helps parents with children diagnosed with autism and other developmental disabilities find resources and connect to services.
Provides help with:
- System Navigation - helping families find and engage with service providers
- Resource Connection - helping families find resources, supports and services
- Advocacy - advocating for rights and service delivery needs
- Education - providing workshops and trainings, public awareness and informational sessions for families and service providers
- Parent-to-Parent Support and Networking - bringing parents together to share information and support
- Autism Awareness Campaign - Outreach in community settings and on social media to debunk myths, misconceptions and misunderstandings about autism
