Services focus on emotional regulation by using the Skills System, a Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT)-informed emotion regulation skills training curriculum consisting of nine core skills and three System Tools that help people be effective at all levels of emotion. It is typically administered in group therapy, but individual therapy is provided if needed.

LifeConncet Health focuses on children and adults who:

  • experience behavioral challenges and for whom traditional interventions have not been effective.
  • have experienced adverse childhood experiences.
  • are Deaf or Hard of Hearing, specifically those who have been exposed to language deprivation or have experienced trauma driven by the absence of linguistically competent supports.

Services offered include:

  • Emotional Regulation Skills training group
  • Daily Morning Meetup group therapy
  • Peer Support Services
  • Psychiatric Advocacy, including pharmacology review and coordination of physical and behavioral health
  • Collaboration of care with existing caretakers and treatment teams
  • Administration of specialized testing when needed
  • Although group therapy is the main treatment modality, trauma-focused team based individual therapy is provided when necessary

Services are offered by telehealth.
