Time-limited housing and support services for individuals and/or families

Description

Provides housing and supportive services to individuals and families who are homeless or in need of safe housing.

Transitional housing helps people live independently, address issues that led to homelessness or kept them homeless, rebuild their support network and transition into permanent housing.

The length of time a person can use the program is limited.

  • Plan for stable long-term housing

Outreach and support activities may include housing search and placement, housing stability case management, mediation, and credit repair/financial education.

Can assist with rental payments. Provides funding to pay for case management and outreach activities.

Eligibility

Serves homeless, single adults and youth in Chisago, Isanti, Kanabec, Mille Lacs and Pine counties.

This organization provides housing referrals/resources to ex-offenders reentering the general population from a correctional facility.
