Program that works on behalf of individuals and/or groups to make sure that they receive the benefits and services for which they are eligible

Additional Information

Provides culturally sensitive, bilingual direct service to refugee and immigrant victims of general crime.

Connects clients to:

  • Advocacy
  • General crime victim information
  • Support through the healing process
  • Professional counseling and therapy
  • Assistance with navigating the criminal justice system
  • Assistance in filing Orders for Protection
  • Referrals to legal services, mental health services, shelter, and other basic needs
  • Bilingual advocacy

This agency has Spanish, Somali, Bosnian, Vietnamese, and Arabic speaking staff in the office. IMAA also offers Language Services and able to support several other languages that are spoken in the community.
