Coordinators connect individuals to well-child care and screenings for eligible newborns, children and young adults
Description
Preventive care keeps kids healthy! Coordinators at these agencies help individuals know if they are eligible for services and connect them with local clinics and agencies that provide comprehensive well-child exams. These exams include age-appropriate preventive, dental, mental health, and developmental screenings.

They will help to connect you with a clinic that provides specialized health checks:
- A complete physical exam
- Hearing and vision checks
- Needed lab tests and immunizations
- Checks on development and growth
- Referral to a dentist
- Information about good physical and mental health, behavior and development
You can use this health check for to meet requirements for Head Start, Women, Infants and Children (WIC), school, sports or day care.
