Ethiopian Community in Minnesota
Cultural Organization
Cultural organizations are available to support a specific cultural community or a group of cultural communities.
Description
Cultural organizations can be the first point of contact for families and providers that do not know where to start but are looking to receive cultural-responsive and -specific services. Many of the organizations provide support in figuring out next steps in the health care and social services systems and identify services for basic needs.
Cultural organizations may provide information and support to families and can connect them to other community resources, including early childhood and family-wellbeing programs. Services provided by cultural organizations may vary from providing direct services to offering referrals to other organizations.
