Crisis Line - Domestic Violence & Shelter
Immediate support and advice for people in distress
Description
Crisis lines provide immediate support to help ensure a person's safety and help them take the next steps toward resolving a problem.
Crisis intervention hotlines/helplines are available through telephone, email, chat, text or other communication methods.
Additional Information
The Minnesota Day One Crisis Hotline links callers experiencing domestic violence, sexual assault, or human trafficking directly to safe housing and support services.

The Day One Network includes over 70 domestic violence, sexual assault, and human trafficking programs throughout Minnesota, and calls are routed to the program nearest the caller's location. Staff will help callers:
- Provide options
- Find a safe place to stay
- Connect you with support services and resources
- Temporary pet foster care
Staff connect survivors with programs that meet their needs based on their primary language, culture, geographic location and other categories of service. Programs may also be able to help with transportation and interpreting services.
The Minnesota Crime Victim Support Line is available 24/7 Advocates can help victims of crime by providing:

- Referrals to other resources
