Contact Us

Thank you for contacting Help Me Connect, which is an online directory of early childhood and family support programs in Minnesota and Tribal lands. Below are answers to a few of our frequently-asked-questions:

  • I need immediate assistance.
Contact United Way 211 for help in finding local resources. Call center staff are available 24 hours a day/7 days a week. Dial 211 from your phone and enter your zip code to talk with someone about your needs.
    • If this is an emergency, call 911.
    • If you or a loved one needs crisis support, call or text 988 or chat 988lifeline.org.
  • I want to talk with someone that knows about programs and services available in my community.
There are many organizations across MN that have staff available to help you find and connect to local services. If you don’t see one listed in your community, consider contacting 211.
  • I want to update my program’s information in Help Me Connect or suggest a new resource.
Send us an email with your updates and suggestions: HelpMeConnect@state.mn.us.
  • I’m trying to reach one of the organizations I saw listed in Help Me Connect.
Use the phone number, email or website listed in Help Me Connect for the organization(s) you are trying to reach. We don’t have direct relationships with the programs and are not able to refer you.
  • I want to order Help Me Connect outreach materials or download a video.
Visit the About webpage to see the available outreach materials.
  • I don’t know where to start and need help getting connected to next steps.
Send us an email and we will try to help: HelpMeConnect@state.mn.us.
