Women Planting Seeds
Domestic Violence Support Services
Support program focusing on domestic abuse of individuals by their spouses or partners
Description
This program provides support to people in abusive situations and works to reduce relationship abuse, intimate partner violence and family violence.
Programs may include crisis intervention and domestic violence education and prevention.
Additional Information
Agency provides emotional support through individual and group coaching:
- Help women and youth ex-offenders re-enter the community
- Assist parents who are at risk of losing their children
- Individuals in treatment programs
- Women escaping prostitution or fleeing domestic violence
- Children with incarcerated parents
- Provides re-entry services back into the community for those exiting incarceration
The agency provides:
- Self-esteem and healthy relationships workshops
- Parent education skills
- Circles of Support groups
- Prostitution support groups
- Domestic violence workshops
- Specialized re-entry services
Men are also welcome. The agency can provide them with referrals to programs.
