Support program focusing on domestic abuse of individuals by their spouses or partners
Description
This program provides support to people in abusive situations and works to reduce relationship abuse, intimate partner violence and family violence.
Programs may include crisis intervention and domestic violence education and prevention.
Additional Information
Provides free and confidential services to all affected by domestic and sexual violence.
Services include:
- Crisis line 24/7
- Advocacy and emotional support
- Emergency short term safe housing
- Support and education groups for children, dating and relationships, and elder abuse
- Accompany people for medical care and exams
- Legal referrals and help apply for restraining orders
- Information and referrals
- Resource library
- Reporting
