Transportation program that provides rides for people in and around their community
Additional Information
UCare Health Ride provides no-cost transportation to and from covered visits including:
- Medical
- Dental
- Mental health
- Substance use disorder
- Pharmacy
- Durable medical equipment
Rides may include a bus pass, taxi, or volunteer driver
Rides are limited to a maximum of 30 - 60 miles from home

Eligibility
Must be a UCare plan member including:
- Prepaid Medical Assistance Program (PMAP)
- Minnesota Senior Care Plus (MSC+)
- UCare Connect Special Needs BasicCare (SNBC)
- UCare Connect + Medicare
- UCare's Minnesota Senior Health Options (MSHO)
- Children on MinnesotaCare
- Adults on MinnesotaCare (limited to colonoscopy and mammogram services)
Application Instructions
- Bus passes may be given up to 14 days in advance
- Those who do not live on a bus line or cannot safely use public transportation need to call 2 days before an appointment to schedule a ride
