The Bridge for Youth
Teen Parent Assistance
Helps prepare young parents with classes or other educational programs and support
Description
Parenting education program that works with parenting and pregnant youth to help them succeed.
Education for teen parents can include classes, workshops or alternative learning settings.
Additional Information
Provides two programs for parenting youth and their children:
- Gloria's Place is an emergency shelter for youth ages 15 - 17 and their children ages 0 - 3
- Includes shelter, meals, clothing, case management, and support
- Marlene's Place is a transitional living program pregnant or parenting youth ages 16 - 20 with children under 3 years old
- Provides housing, case management, access to healthcare and parenting education
- Helps with transportation to school and access to technology as needed
