Domestic Violence Support Services
Support program focusing on domestic abuse of individuals by their spouses or partners
Description
This program provides support to people in abusive situations and works to reduce relationship abuse, intimate partner violence and family violence.
Programs may include crisis intervention and domestic violence education and prevention.
Additional Information
Trained staff and volunteers offer help to survivors, families, and friends who have been affected by crime or violence.
Advocates provide:
- Crisis line
- Civil and legal assistance
- Assistance through the criminal court process
- Hospital or law enforcement accompaniment
- Short term emergency placement
- Support groups
- Parenting time centers
- Thrift Store vouchers
