Domestic Violence Support Services
Support program focusing on domestic abuse of individuals by their spouses or partners
Description
This program provides support to people in abusive situations and works to reduce relationship abuse, intimate partner violence and family violence.
Programs may include crisis intervention and domestic violence education and prevention.
Additional Information
Provides:
- Support and assist victims with the development of safety plans
- Assists in the preparation and filing of temporary and final Orders for Protection or Harassment Orders
- Provides support for landlord/tenant problems, custody, divorce and other issues that impact personal safety
- Provides information related to court procedures and victim rights
- Acts as a liaison between the victim and criminal justice personnel
- Offers court accompaniment
