Offers cash or other short term aid to people in a crisis that is affecting their access to basic needs

Emergency assistance can vary based upon eligibility and available funds.

Additional Information

Provides clients what they need for their new job including:

  • A monthly bus passes for people who are homeless and returning to work
  • Tools for the Job: Equipment and trade tools for construction workers, welders, barbers, beauticians and chefs
  • Professional testing fees, union dues, licenses and license renewals fees

No cash is provided.

Eligibility

Adults who are:

  • Experiencing homelessness or in unstable housing (late on rent, in supportive or transitional housing)
  • Have a verifiable job offer or have started a new job in the last two months
  • Working at least 25 hours a week

Application Instructions

If you feel that you are eligible, call to do a short intake over the phone.

Upon approval and verification of your job we will schedule an in-person meeting with you at the St. Paul office located near the intersection of University and Snelling Ave.
