Time-limited housing and support services for individuals and/or families

Description

Provides housing and supportive services to individuals and families who are homeless or in need of safe housing.

Transitional housing helps people live independently, address issues that led to homelessness or kept them homeless, rebuild their support network and transition into permanent housing.

The length of time a person can use the program is limited.

Offers transitional apartments for homeless families with children

There are fully furnished apartments that are a mix of sizes, all are for families.

Mary's Place Minute Clinic provides medical care for families in the transitional apartments.

Supportive services include:

  • Goal planning and progress tracking for permanent housing
  • Youth tutoring, mentoring and enrichment activities
  • Programs for self-sufficiency
  • Case management
  • Connection to resources
  • Employment search assistance

Residents have access to a free laundry facility, two large classrooms where tutoring is offered Monday - Wednesday, a computer room, activity rooms, a playroom, meeting spaces, a chapel and a medical clinic.
