HeatShare provides emergency utility assistance for people with no place left to turn. Funds are typically used to pay for natural gas, oil, propane, and electricity.
This program is used by:
- Low-income seniors
- Disabled people unable to maintain a steady income
- Anybody experiencing an unexpected financial emergency

To qualify, applicants must have:
- Received a final shut off notice
- Exhausted all other energy assistance funds
- Had a critical event (crisis or emergency) that has prevented them from paying the bill
