Food is distributed to those who need it. The emergency food is typically made available through donations.

Provide a short term supply of food based on family size.

Food is purchased locally, through Second Harvest of Minnesota and from other sources with donations from the community, organizations and businesses.

Patrons are issued a voucher for staples and fresh fruit and vegetables from the local grocery store in addition to their items.
