Provides direct support services to blind or deaf-blind people to help them live as independently as possible

Description

Blind or visually impaired support services involve direct support to people who are blind, deaf-blind, or those with low vision. Program focuses on teaching Independent Living Skills (ILS) to people with a visual impairment.

Additional Information

Assists individuals of all ages in reaching their personal goals through assessment and training. Instruction can take place on-site in Grand Forks, in the home, on the job, or wherever an individual may need guidance.

Provides programs at the School for the Blind for all ages from infants - adults.
