Coordinators connect individuals to well-child care and screenings for eligible newborns, children and young adults
Description
Preventive care keeps kids healthy! Coordinators at these agencies help individuals know if they are eligible for services and connect them with local clinics and agencies that provide comprehensive well-child exams. These exams include age-appropriate preventive, dental, mental health, and developmental screenings.

These exams include:
- A complete physical exam, including height and weight
- A review of your child's development
- Hearing and vision checks
- Information on good health and nutrition
- Lab tests, including lead tests for toddlers
- Immunizations
- Referrals to other health professionals when appropriate
