Evaluations and other audiology-related services for people with hearing loss
Description
Audiology services for people who are hard of hearing or are impacted by hearing loss. Program can include evaluations, therapy, hearing aid fittings or other related services.
Additional Information
Care for people of all ages with hearing loss, dizziness and balance disorders and ear problems
Services include:
- Newborn infant hearing screening
- Objective tests of hearing and balance
- Behavioral audiometry testing
- Vestibular balance screening and full vestibular balance evaluations
- Evaluation, dispensing and management of listening devices
- Counseling, hearing therapy and self-advocacy training
- Therapy for abnormal sensitivity to sounds and/or tinnitus (ringing in the ears)
