Public health departments offer screenings, health education and wellness services

Public health clinics typically provide:

Immunization clinics are offered at the Le Sueur County Public Health office at 130 S Park Ave, Le Center, MN 56057

Walk-in clinics are held the first Monday of every month from 8:30am - 3:30pm.

Shots are given other days by appointment.

Bring record of past immunizations.

There is a $20.00 charge per immunization and medical assistance plans are billed when clients are eligible.

The following vaccines are available to adults with or without insurance:

Hepatitis B - $75.00
Tdap- $75.00
Tuberculosis Screening: The skin test (mantoux) is done by appointment only. There is a $25 fee and the recipient must be able to return in 48 - 72 hours for the reading of the skin test.

Child and Teen Checkups (C&TC) Coordinators connect individuals to well-child care and screenings for eligible newborns, children and young adults
Family Home Visiting Expectant parents and parents or caregivers of young children can receive in-home support including education on pregnancy topics, parenting skills and connections to community resources.
Follow Along Program Program that supports families with young children in learning, growing and connecting to supports and services as needed.
WIC - Supplemental Nutrition Program A nutrition and breastfeeding program that helps young families eat well and be healthy. Learn about nutrition during pregnancy and feeding your baby and young children; meet breastfeeding goals; and buy healthy food using your WIC card.
