Transportation program that provides rides for people in and around their community
Additional Information
Public dial-a-ride transit bus service in Kanabec County:
- Mora/Ogilvie areas have daily service
- Buses pick up people where they live or work
- When someone calls for a reservation they'll be asked to allow a window of time for the bus to come
- Caretakers accompanying passengers who require assistance into buildings or to appointments ride free of charge.
- Assistance to a door can be provided if requested in advance.
- Open to the public
- All buses are lift equipped
Common Carrier services include volunteer drivers providing transportation to nonemergency medical appointments, therapy, counseling and dental appointments.
Assisted Transportation - Age 60 and over
- Provides van transportation approximately 30 miles from residence
- For residents of Kanabec County who live outside Timber Trails Public Bus service area
- Van is not lift-equipped. Riders using walkers or a wheelchair must be able to transfer into a van with little assistance.

Application Instructions
First time riders need to go through an intake process.
Make ride requests as early as possible by calling (320) 364-1350, by email, or using the online request form.
Dispatchers are available 7:00am - 6:00pm, Monday - Friday.
Bus reservations need to be made a day in advance to allow the dispatchers to build efficient routes.
For Assisted Transportation, call (320) 364-1350 or email timber.trails@co.kanabec.mn.us to schedule a ride. Family members, guardians, caregivers etc. can contact to schedule on behalf of another individual.
Fee
Dial-a-ride: $3 for a ride in town and $5 for out of town Common Carrier: Private pay Assisted Transportation: Recommend $5 one-way, $10 round-trip.
