Legal help for low-income individuals
Description
Legal aid program that offers legal counseling and/or representation for low-income individuals, typically in the areas of disability law, elder law and family law
Free or low cost legal services help people who are unable to afford a lawyer get access to the court system.
Additional Information
Provides free legal advice and resources at a free walk-in legal clinic
Services are provided twice per month, in person or over the phone.
Legal issues including:
- Landlord and tenant or property
- Divorce, parenting time, custody, or other family law issues
- Debt collection
- Impounded car
- Purchase or service contracts
- Probate
- Employment
- Simple wills and health care directives
- Any other civil legal issues
Does not assist with criminal law issues.

Application Instructions
Provided twice a month on Thursday afternoons.
The legal clinic phone is not answered daily. Clients can call and leave a message between clinic dates. Intake staff will return the call before the next clinic date.
