Food is distributed to those who need it. The emergency food is typically made available through donations.
Additional Information
A choice model food shelf, organized much like a grocery store or local market. When you visit for a food appointment, you select the groceries that you and your family enjoy.
Food shelf additionally offers:
- Emergency boxes filled with non-perishable foods
- Home delivery for approved clients unable to come to the food shelf
- Mobile Food Shelf, serving several apartment buildings in the service area
- Community Markets provide elementary school families and students access to a full food market

Application Instructions
Call for an appointment. Can use food shelf up to 2 times per month. At your first appointment, you will meet with an case manager to review paperwork, walk through using the food shelf, and learn about other available services. Shopping appointments can be made Monday through Thursday and the first and third Saturdays of every month.
