Street Outreach - Homeless Project

Works with homeless people living on the streets or in shelters to try and connect them with services

Description

Program where staff or volunteers interact with people who live on the street, build relationships, try to identify immediate needs and provide information about longer-term support services.

Additional Information

The Homeless Project serves individuals in Duluth who are homeless and have a mental illness. Many of those they serve also have health problems and substance abuse issues.

The project provides community outreach to locate homeless persons, and assist them to obtain and keep permanent housing.
