Additional Information

Center for Inclusive Child Care helps families with children who are having behavior issues and/or special health needs in child care settings. Specialists work with parents and/or child care providers to develop strategies to support children who are having a difficult time in child care settings due to a variety of reasons.

Ask an Expert is a resource for parents, providers, and anyone with questions about early childhood development.

Free coaching is provided to early childhood educators by offering support, training, modeling, and resources to child care programs throughout Minnesota.

  • Coaches provide support focused on the successful inclusion of children with special needs or challenging behaviors, implementing best health and safety practices, and supporting the unique needs to the children in care.

The Resource Library offers tip sheets, self-paced courses, podcasts, and videos on topics that include sensory needs, developmental milestones, and health and safety matters that provide guidance and support in working with children.
