Eligibility

To be eligible applicants must have:

• A referral by a workplace, agency or church that explains the need and compliance with their program.
• A current driver's license
• Proof of residency in Douglas, Pope, Stevens or Otter Tail County
• Current pay stub or proof of other income
• Proof of insurance
• Copy of the vehicle title
• A determination by the program that the repair cost and effort is feasible based on the vehicle's age, condition, repair cost and repair time required.

Individuals who have received a car or car repairs previously from the Car Care Program are not eligible.

Fee

May be costs associated with parts, but labor is free.
