Recovery Services for Pregnant and Parenting Women - Project Harmony
Support for mothers in recovery, including home visiting, case management, resource connection and peer recovery services
Description
Project Harmony is a tri-county program that offers free, voluntary support by a Registered Nurse and Peer Recovery Coach for pregnant or parenting mothers of young children who live in Meeker, McLeod, or Sibley Counties.
The program can connect women with local resources, reduce barriers to sobriety, provide support for healthy parenting, and assistance to support women on their path to recovery.
Participants receive:
- Parenting support and family health assessments from a Registered Nurse
- Personalized recovery tools with a Peer Recovery Coach
- Help finding community resources
- Financial assistance with emergency needs like child care, transportation, books, or housing
- Assistance navigating health service
- Support accessing social services
- Incentives for participating

Pregnant or parenting mothers of children 10 years of age or under, seeking recovery from substance abuse, and living in Meeker, McLeod or Sibley County.

- WIC - Supplemental Nutrition Program A nutrition and breastfeeding program that helps young families eat well and be healthy. Learn about nutrition during pregnancy and feeding your baby and young children; meet breastfeeding goals; and buy healthy food using your WIC card.
