Transportation program that provides rides for people in and around their community

Additional Information

Provides transportation and medical transportation to people in Dakota County and surrounding communities who are disabled or have no other mode of transportation available. Rides are provided to various places and appointments through volunteer drivers who use their own vehicles.

Transportation may be provided for medical, dental and mental health appointments, Dakota County offices, Social Security office, or limited court appointments. Rides are also provided to obtain housing.

Other destinations such as grocery shopping and pharmacy pick up are available based on driver availability. Destinations may be anywhere in the Metro area and surrounding counties for Dakota County residents.

Application Instructions

Call to schedule a ride; call (952) 952-9299 at least 14 business days in advance. Shorter notice may be possible based on driver availability. Takes ride requests up to two months in advance.

Fee

$10 donation is requested for local rides within Dakota County $20 donation is requested for travel outside of Dakota County
