Food is distributed to those who need it. The emergency food is typically made available through donations.

Delivery to Elders (seniors) is available on request.

Eligibility

Households must:

  • Be on the reservation or in an approved area
  • Have at least one member who is a member of any recognized tribe
  • Meet the income and resource guidelines

Eligibility is determined by household size and income. Each year guidelines change, so check eligibility with the office. You must have proof of address and income.

Application Instructions

Proof of address could be a power or phone bill in your name. Proof of all income is required; check stubs, letters from Social Security, or something stating monthly income. Certification periods are every six months, unless otherwise specified by the clerk.

You cannot mix food distribution and food stamp programs in the same household. They will be happy to answer any questions you have about the program.
