Additional Information

Cornerstone's Emergency Shelter is a 35-bed shelter for those in danger of domestic violence.

The shelter provides family living spaces, including a handicap-accessible unit, a teen room, a youth room and a woman's lounge. Laundry facilities and telephones are also available.

The shelter provides:

  • Basic necessities including meals, toiletries, clothing, school supplies, and transportation
  • Access to Cornerstone's legal, supportive, housing, parenting and therapy services
  • Shelter staff can help residents address their current situation, make goals, and consider options for the next step.

Male and transgender victims receive safe and comfortable alternative housing while using Cornerstone's services.

This option is also available for elderly or transgender people who might not be comfortable in a shelter setting.
